She's so shiny - February 2021

today i washed my car and i never do chores like this.  i have microfiber clothes i used, 2 buckets, 1 sponge, soap, and wax. i parked my car on the driveway and filled one bucket up with just water, the other bucket i filled up with 1/3rd soap and wax, 2/3rds water. i got my sponge and microfiber clothes out of the trunk and the sponge. i put the sponge in the water bucket, you always want to get your car nice and wet before you put on any soap or wax. after the whole surface of my car was wet, i dipped my sponge in the soap and wax mixture. i applied a thin layer of the soap and wax all over the car. i started to gently wash the soap and wax into the car using circular motions. when buying soap and or wax for your car, it is very important to make sure it will not damage or chip your paint in the long run. after i had gently scrubbed in the soap and wax all over the surface i completely washed off the sponge. you want to make sure that you have NO soap or wax left on the sponge, or it could get spotty. after my sponge was clean, i dipped it in water and scrubbed off all excess soap and wax. finally, i used my microfiber clothes to dry the surface of my car. you always want to make sure to wipe down the water as soon as you can to avoid spotting. i had her looking extra shiny and gorgeous. then it rained the next day. it felt good to do it myself.
